Perched on the slopes of Ruka, this is the northernmost roller coaster on the planet — and one of the most fun things you can do in Lapland with kids. The 767-metre track winds down the snowy hillside at up to 40 km/h with sweeping views across the fells.
Best of all, you control your own speed with a brake lever, so it is as gentle or as thrilling as you want — perfect for families and adrenaline-seekers alike. The guided day from Rovaniemi also includes a scenic drive and a walk along safe winter trails.
